The best way to feed ferrets is to always leave dry, pelleted food with them. Moist food sours after a few hours, especially in warm weather. This is one of the advantages of a dry diet. Convenience and keeping quality are other advantages, plus the beneficial effect crunchy food has on the ferret's teeth. Ferrets on moist diets develop much more plaque on their teeth sooner than ferrets on the same food fed dry.

that sums it up mate pet ferrets are not working animals

lmao you dont have to do everything it sez!

as i said its a helpfull site

thank you for your ignorance

The biology of the ferret is the same whether it's a worker or a pet.

I don't see how advice that's good for pet ferrets isn't for workers.

And as it used to say in the front of the Yorkshire Caving Guides....'this is for the guidance of the wise, not the obeyance of fools'

wasted on pet owners as they dont like seeing bunnie wunnies getting killed , all the info you need is here

tisk tisk  lol i think you will find the site is done by vets. well to my knowlege anyway and before you say anything about them trying to get cash from you ........i aint buying it :tongue2: and the ferrets behaviour and the infections and desieses ferrets get has nothing to do with bunnie wunnies :wallbash: think before you type

The best information on ferrets is to go on Google Books and type in "diseases and anatomy of the ferret" or something like that.

Its a free preview of the real book thats meant for vets and covers everything from polcats to all the diseases of the ferret ;).

Luke.

nice, ill look at that later :good:

my advice

read all and everything about ferrets, then speak with as many people as you can and work out what to do from all that. That way you are making your own mind up, but are seeking as much advice and expertise as possible.

the site you found will have things you disagree with, god i even disagree with my best mate and my wife..........on some things...........but dont throw out the baby with the bath water, there will be some useful info and some not so
